Build and operate AI infrastructure
AI Infrastructure & Inference
Run models on infrastructure you can see, size and control. Forthscale designs and builds the platform on-prem, in private or dedicated cloud, or hybrid, and will recommend an external API when that is the better choice.
Who it’s for
- Your team already knows what has to be served, where, and under which data constraints.
- Your team is still deciding whether to self-host or use an API. Start with an architecture or sizing assessment.
What the work can include
Architecture
Where models run and how requests reach them, planned before you commit to hardware or a host.
Capacity sizing
GPU, CPU, memory, storage and network sized to the workload you describe.
Deployment
Container-based deployment, including Kubernetes-based platforms where they fit.
Serving and routing
Model-serving APIs, gateways and routing to the endpoints you choose.
Security and data boundaries
Access control, data-residency choices and defined boundaries for data and logs.
Operations
Deployment automation, scaling, observability and maintenance once the platform is running.
When an external API is the better answer
If self-hosting will not meet the constraints, the recommendation says so, and the design covers how the API is called and controlled.
How it starts
Projects start as a scoped build. If the hosting decision is still open, start with an assessment.
Background
Forthscale has built and operated production infrastructure since 2012, including Kubernetes, CI/CD and observability.
